Mute/Blast First continue their critically acclaimed reissues of the legendary Suicide's groundbreaking back catalogue with the re-release of their seminal third & fourth albums; A Way Of Life & Why Be Blue? (originally released in 1988 & 1992, respectively). Each CD is coupled with a second disc, featuring two previously unreleased incendiary live performances by the group in Europe; both recorded during the late 1980's. 1992's Why Be Blue? is a more produced & up beat, hedonistic affair than its 1988 predecessor, A Way of Life. The jubilant title track, 'Chewy-Chewy', the vivacious 'Flashy Love' & 'Play The Dream' all proudly flaunt a hard fought for optimism, with Vega's uninhibited vocals & surreal cut-up lyrics in full kinetic flight. Why Be Blue?'s supplementary disc documents a celebratory concert performed for an adoring Parisian crowd at Le Palace, 17th April 1989.
