Voices

Brooklyn Art Song Society, hailed by the New York Times as a company well worth watching presents its first album featuring five world premiere recordings: works by Michael Djupstom, Herschel Garfien, James Kallembach, and Glen Roven. Each set is sung by a different rising star: sopranos Elisabeth Marshall, and Laura Strickling; mezzo soprano Krista River; and baritone Kyle Oliver. They are each joined at the piano by Brooklyn Art Song Societys artistic director Michael Brofman.
