Tod Dockstader: From the Archives"" is an unexpected album of recently discovered electronic music from ""one of the giants in the field"" - The Washington Post When Dockstader died in 2015, it appeared no new music from him would be released. The discovery of over 4,000 sound files found in his computer archives prompted an exhaustive examination that led to teh 15 works premiering on this album. Created from 2000-2008, these were the last pieces composed by Dockstader, before dementia stopped his studio work.
