The Mississippi Mass Choir has been on a resounding journey since its inception over two decades ago winning the highest honors a musical group can be awarded in the music industry, including the 1997 Grammy Award for best Gospel Album by a Choir or Chorus and numerous Stellar Awards. They have also been recognized by Billboard Magazine for Top Gospel Artist of the Year (twice) and Album of the Year (1992, 1994, 1991 respectively) as well as being awarded multiple Independent Awards, Soul Train Awards, a Dove Award, and many more recognitions too numerous to mention.
