Stan Freberg made his name as a voice actor in animation, initially with Warner Brothers in 1944 and later Walt Disney, and was still providing the voice to animated heroes at the turn of the century. His dual career as a satirist began in 1951 with Capitol Records and subsequently evolved into a series of musical parodies, with both lines resulting in chart success.
