Composed of unreleased audio and film recordings, this unique album and documentary package is an intimate portrait of Grigory Sokolov. The album features two live concerto recordings, Mozart K.488 with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra under Trevor Pinnock (Salzburg, 2005) and Rachmaninov No. 3 with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra under Yan Pascal Tortelier (London, 1995). Dedicated to his late wife, Inna Sokolova, the documentary features rare footage from the reclusive artist's private archives.
