The words class, superstar, an American original and cool are a just a few ways to describe the living legend Al Jarreau. With a treasure trove of hit albums, Grammy Awards, gold and platinum awards, and a non-stop career of just great music for the past four decades, Friday Music is very proud to announce the historic re-release Live In London/ The Deluxe Edition. This historic London’s Wembley Stadium concert truly shows Al Jarreau at what he does best, and that’s captivating an audience, and a huge audience in the tens of thousands! Highlighting several of his biggest hits like We’re In This Love Together, Raging Waters and Black And Blues, this newly remastered compact disc version extends this once in a lifetime event with four more unreleased gems from his songbook. Dave Brubeck/Paul Desmond’s Take Five gets an incredible workout, as does his own smashes Boogie Down, and Trouble In Paradise and the power ballad Our Love. To make this even more of a special release for the fans, Al recently sat down with Friday Music and hatched out some very cool liner notes and interview revisiting this important chapter of his career. With more great music, brand new liner notes from the artist, original artwork elements, and new remastering by Joe Reagoso (Jarreau, High Crimes), Al Jarreau’s Live In London/ The Deluxe Edition will one of the most important releases of the new year.
