Manufacturer Description
The classic 1999 album from John Prine is now available on PINK vinyl as apart of the Ten Bands One Cause campaign. This is the 6th year for the initiative that has raised over $200,000 for Gilda’s Club NYC, an organization that provides community support for both those diagnosed with cancer and their caretakers. It is named after comedian Gilda Radner, who passed away from cancer at the age of 43 in 1989. Sales proceeds from the record will benefit Gilda's Club NYC.
In Spite of Ourselves is the 13th studio album of John Prine, featuring mostly duets of old country songs with various well-known female vocalists released in 1999. The album was Prine's first release since successfully battling throat cancer. Many critics rank it as one of John's finest works and is essential for any fan's collection.
