A great gift idea for those people who still wish Bell Biv Devoe would get back with Brown & Co. Doesn't seem like that long ago when everything New Edition sang climbed the charts--even this Christmas collection did fairly well for the simple fact that it had their name on it. A more accessible CD than some, New Edition's boyish harmonies still sound great on "Give Love on Christmas," "All I Want for Christmas Is My Little Girl," and "Singing Merry Christmas." The arrangements might sound a bit dated for some listeners, but there's a timeless appeal in the boys' exuberance. "Happy Holidays to You" and "It's Christmas Time" are classic New Edition. --Steve Gdula
